02 / CONCEPT — WHY DROPONROOF
Conventional networks are efficient at scale but may use scheduled stages. Individual express can be direct, but typically requires a dedicated vehicle. DropOnRoof™ is designed to combine opportunistic transportation with shared autonomous infrastructure.
It is an additional logistics layer—not a replacement for every shipment—with an initial focus of approximately 10–500 miles.

04 / PORTAL MATRIX™
Portal Matrix™ is the connected physical infrastructure system at the center of DropOnRoof™. RouteAI™ identifies useful capacity on journeys already happening and links those opportunities through Portal Matrix™ nodes. The parcel adapts to the available transportation network—the vehicles do not adapt to the parcel.
Getting a parcel from the sender to the first Portal Matrix™ is an access option, not a required DropOnRoof™ transportation leg. At Stage 1, a local courier may cover approximately 5–10 miles when pickup is needed. At a future Stage 2, a drone may pick up directly from an AviaBox™ and deliver the parcel to the entry Portal Matrix™.
The entry Portal Matrix™ marks the transition from local pickup into the automated DropOnRoof™ network. From that point, RouteAI™ can coordinate movement, transfer, temporary waiting, and rerouting across available infrastructure-to-infrastructure transportation opportunities.
The connected system is designed to operate across multiple Portal Matrix™ nodes and intersecting vehicle journeys. A parcel can move across cities, states, and—where future regulation and operations permit—adjacent countries.
RouteAI™ continuously evaluates available transportation opportunities. A parcel may move on one participating vehicle, transfer automatically at Portal Matrix™, wait when no useful onward journey is available, then continue on another compatible mode.
Every additional Portal Matrix™, participating vehicle, transportation partner, and active corridor can create new routing combinations, useful next moves, and alternatives around unavailable capacity.
At the destination side, another Portal Matrix™ receives the parcel and prepares it for collection or an optional last-mile service, keeping endpoint delivery distinct from the core transportation layer.
At Stage 1, a local courier may carry the parcel approximately 5–10 miles to the recipient. At a future Stage 2, a drone may deliver from Portal Matrix™ to an AviaBox™. These are endpoint options, not the mechanism that defines the core network.
Portal Matrix™ infrastructure and RouteAI™ form the persistent network layer. Passenger vehicles, commercial fleets, drones, autonomous ground vehicles, and future transportation modes can be integrated as they become practical.

JourneyNet™ is the community side of the DropOnRoof™ ecosystem. It is designed for people who choose to make journeys they are already taking more useful—without turning everyday travel into a conventional delivery job.
Use what is already moving, avoid unnecessary dedicated trips where sharing works, help parcels move more directly, and receive value for participating.
Follow a journey you were already planning. When the system identifies a compatible opportunity, accept a parcel movement and make two brief interactions—pickup and drop-off—while DropOnRoof™ handles matching, routing, tracking, and the surrounding logistics workflow.
A member may be a commuter, passenger-vehicle owner, pickup-truck owner, RV owner, independent driver, or another eligible participant. Wealth, profession, and vehicle type do not define the community.
Seconds of effort. Real value. A more thoughtful way to travel. Participation terms, eligibility, compensation, insurance, and vehicle requirements remain development-stage items until validated and finalized.
